SPECIAL TRAFFIC ANNOUNCEMENT

TONIGHT – there will be a temporary road closure of the A259 Seabrook Road from 7pm through to 5am tomorrow morning. Seabrook Road will be closed between the junctions with Saxon Close and Ferguson Close. There will be no direct access between Folkestone and Hythe during these works.

Wednesday 23 November, 7pm for 7.30pm: Film showing of ‘Eight Days a Week’ at the Chichester Memorial Hall, Sandgate. Just turn up, no need to book!

Friday 25 November, 6pm: Sandgate Christmas ‘Switch-On’ at Saga Pavilion. Glass of mulled wine and mince pie £1.50; Carols sung by the Sandgate Gospel Choir; 6.15pm Father Christmas arrives!

Friday 2nd December, 7pm for 7.30pm: Sandgate Society’s Great Xmas Party at the Chichester Memorial Hall, Sandgate. Mulled wine and nibbles on arrival; traditional Christmas dinner; entertainment: Shorncliffe Gospel Choir. Bring your own drinks, glasses supplied. Tickets £20 for non-members, in advance only. Sunday 4 December, 10am to 2pm: Trash & Treasure Fair at Saga Pavilion. £1.00 adults; 50p children and OAPs.
Saturday 10th December, 10am to 12 noon: Sandgate Craft Club at Sandgate Library. Christmas theme!

Sunday 11th December, 3.30pm: Family Christmas Concert with Carols at Saga Pavilion. £12 adults, £6 students, free to children under 12. With works including Polovtsian Dances, Finlandia, Gladiator theme, Star Wars theme.
