Sandgate's Chichester Memorial Hall is in the centre of Sandgate and at the centre of village life.

The Chichester Memorial Hall is managed by Trustees on behalf of the people of Sandgate – and its main use is by community groups for activities as diverse as Tai Chi and Short Mat Bowls, Table Tennis, Tamalpa, Pilates, Yoga and Art Classes.

There are also Farmers and Makers Markets held on the first and third Saturday of every month, and the hall is available for private hire.
