The Ship Inn is now under new ownership.
It is a traditional pub in Sandgate with a cosy snug and a sea view restaurant. The Restaurant serves a varied menu, featuring homemade specials from local produce, and great bar snacks. Drinks can be enjoyed in the bar or on the first-floor sun terrace that has spectacular Channel views. The Ship Inn is now dog friendly and there is a real fire place in the back bar.
The Ship now serves breakfast Wednesdays to Saturdays from 10 am to 12pm. There is a set lunch menu available 12pm to 3pm daily. The Ship Inn serves Pie of the week, such as Steak and Stilton pie with creamy spring onion mash, roasted veg and rich gravy.
